Breanne and CJ\u2019s wedding was a breathtaking celebration of love, heritage, and artistry. Hosted at Samsara in the Redlands<\/strong>, their Miami destination wedding<\/strong> was filled with soul, intentional design, and rich cultural storytelling that made every guest feel not just included \u2014 but inspired.This private tropical estate, surrounded by lush palms and botanical beauty, served as the perfect backdrop for their celebration. Our design approach honored the property\u2019s natural oasis while layering in meaningful details that celebrated the couple\u2019s African American and Jamaican heritage<\/strong> throughout the entire day.<\/p>\n

Designing with Heart and Heritage<\/h2>\n

One of the most personal touches came in the form of vibrant bougainvillea florals<\/strong>, incorporated at the request of Breanne in honor of her grandmother. Knowing how deeply the gesture would touch her, we wove the florals throughout the ceremony and reception design to ensure her spirit was felt and celebrated.<\/p>\n

Tablescapes are a creative highlight in any celebration, and this wedding was no exception. Breanne and CJ encouraged our team to embrace bold color, layered textures, and artistic styling<\/strong> \u2014 and the result was nothing short of extraordinary. Every table told a story, blending modern design with warmth, soul, and expressive energy.<\/p>\n

Stationery That Spoke Volumes<\/h2>\n

Every piece of stationery and signage<\/strong> was custom-designed and full of meaning. From the invitation suite to the reception signage, the designs were infused with cultural symbolism and intentional storytelling. Each table was named after a prominent figure in African American or Caribbean history<\/strong>, complete with a brief excerpt about their contributions to the arts, activism, and cultural heritage.<\/p>\n

This thoughtful detail sparked conversations throughout the evening, drawing guests deeper into the couple\u2019s story and values. It was design with depth \u2014 the kind that lingers long after the last dance.<\/p>\n

Flavors of Love: Soul Food Meets Jamaican Tradition<\/h2>\n

We partnered with our friends at Style Catering<\/strong> to bring the celebration full circle with a culinary experience that paid homage to both sides of the couple\u2019s heritage. The menu featured a fusion of traditional Jamaican dishes and classic American Soul Food<\/strong>, creating a delicious and heartfelt tribute to their families and backgrounds.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t just a meal \u2014 it was a cultural love affair expressed through flavor, and a highlight for every guest in attendance.<\/p>\n
