A Celebration of Collaboration, Creativity, and Seasonal Inspiration

At Pink Wasabi Events, we believe that exceptional events begin long before guests arrive. Every detail, every design decision, and every collaboration contributes to creating an unforgettable experience. Our recent co-hosted event, Hello Summer, was a perfect example of how thoughtful planning, inspired design, and an incredible vendor team can transform a vision into reality.

Hosted by Different Look Rentals and co-hosted by Pink Wasabi Events, Hello Summer was a vibrant end-of-season celebration inspired by the charm and energy of an Italian summer. Designed as an opportunity to reflect on a successful season and celebrate the relationships that make our industry thrive, the event brought together event professionals, creatives, and industry partners for an evening of meaningful connections, engaging entertainment, and immersive design experiences.

Establishing the Event Vision

The objective behind Hello Summer was clear: create a sophisticated yet welcoming environment that celebrated the close of a successful season while showcasing the power of collaboration within the event industry.

We wanted guests to experience more than a networking event. The goal was to design a fully immersive environment that highlighted the talents of every participating vendor while creating natural opportunities for interaction, engagement, and inspiration.

From the moment guests arrived at the breathtaking Castle La Florentia, every touchpoint was intentionally designed to evoke warmth, vibrant summer energy, and the spirit of celebrating a successful season together.

Designing the Guest Journey

One of the most important aspects of event planning is creating a seamless guest experience. For Hello Summer, we carefully mapped the event flow to ensure guests could naturally explore each activation while enjoying the venue’s stunning architecture and grounds.

The experience included:

Grand arrival moments and welcoming photo opportunities
Custom-designed branded activations
Curated lounge environments for networking and conversation
Interactive food and beverage experiences
Live entertainment throughout the evening
Vibrant and inviting seasonal décor installations
Dessert and gelato experiences to close the celebration

Every design element was strategically positioned to encouragemovement, discovery, and meaningful interaction.

Bringing the Design Concept to Life

For Hello Summer, we wanted guests to feel as though they had been transported to a stylish Italian summer escape. Drawing inspiration from the Mediterranean coast, our design team focused on creating an atmosphere that felt vibrant, welcoming, and sophisticated.

One of the event’s signature moments was a custom activation created by PINK. Marketing & Activations. Their iconic 3D Rainbow Bridge Arch received a Mediterranean-inspired transformation, complete with glowing lighting elements, lush florals, and a vintage Vespa that instantly became one of the evening’s most photographed features. The installation served as both a striking focal point and an interactive experience, giving guests the perfect backdrop for portraits, networking moments, and memorable photo opportunities.

Throughout the venue, we layered natural greenery, elegant furnishings, textured linens, and architectural enhancements to reinforce the Italian summer aesthetic. Every detail was intentionally selected to create a cohesive visual story that balanced sophistication with playful seasonal energy.

The design strategy emphasized:

Mediterranean-inspired styling and seasonal color palettes
Immersive photo-worthy activations
Organic textures, greenery, and natural elements
Comfortable yet sophisticated lounge environments
Seamless integration of branding and guest engagement
Statement moments that encouraged interaction and social sharing

The result was an environment that felt transportive, polished, and distinctly memorable, capturing the spirit of summer while celebrating the creativity of our event community.

Whether guests were enjoying curated culinary experiences, gathering in thoughtfully designed lounge spaces, posing in front of the Vespa-inspired activation, or ending the evening with gelato under the glow of chandeliers and draping, each moment was intentionally curated to create lasting impressions.

Watching guests connect, celebrate, and engage with the thoughtfully curated spaces reminded us why we love what we do.

Looking Ahead

Pink Wasabi Events is thrilled to share the highlights of our latest #WasabiWednesdays installment: Galentine’s Edition, held at the chic Novikov Miami on February 12th, 2025. This spectacular evening, beautifully captured by La Vie Studios Photography, brought together friends for a night of laughter, celebration, and unforgettable memories.

A Warm Welcome

Guests were greeted by our stunning Fleurs Roses Flower Arch, providing the perfect photo opportunity to kick off the festivities in style. This enchanting arch set the tone for the evening, letting attendees know they were in for a night dedicated to friendship and fun.

Indulge in Deliciousness

Once inside, attendees were treated to a delightful array of complimentary Japanese-inspired cocktails, including our signature Wasabi Martinis —an exciting twist that perfectly complemented the upscale ambiance only enhanced by the beautiful Bar and Cocktail Tables by MiVintage Rentals. With delicious food and fine wine flowing throughout the night, it was an event that tantalized the taste buds and created a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Glam Bags and Permanent Jewelry

The evening’s charm extended beyond tasty treats. Attendees enjoyed luxurious Glam Bags sponsored by Safai 305, which contained a selection of premium skincare and beauty products. Guests also had the unique opportunity to indulge in a Permanent Jewelry activation courtesy of Grace by Sophia Fine Jewelry, adding a touch of elegance to a special night.

Captivating Photo Ops

Our collaboration with our sister brand, PINK. Marketing & Activations, ensured that guests could immerse themselves in the experience. The highlight of the evening was our I Heart You Heart-shaped Flower Arch , which served as the perfect backdrop for selfies at our La Vie Studios’ selfie booth. Capturing the joy and connections shared on Galentine’s Day has never been easier!

Raffle Excitement

As the night drew to a close, the excitement continued with a raffle featuring three fantastic Glam Bags filled with luxury beauty products from Safai 305 . This added an element of surprise and delight, ensuring that everyone walked away with a little something special.

#WasabiWednesdays is a momentous occasion for Pink Wasabi Events, as we celebrate ten amazing years of bringing people together! Our founder, Shari, initially created this event to invite ladies—and anyone with similar interests—to explore new venues, starting with Wasabi Studios, while experiencing top-notch beauty and wellness services. Guests have relished evenings filled with makeup, henna tattoos, hair braiding, mini-manicures, chair massages, and so much more!

Originally, we intended to host this event to kick off our high season, but, unfortunately, hurricane season presented a challenge. Our new date, which fell later in the season, led to some of our sponsors being unable to join us. However, what we missed in some key services was beautifully compensated for by the incredible atmosphere created by our sponsors and attendees, who arrived in stylish silky pajama sets, loungewear, and marabou details. It was the perfect way to usher in Scorpio season, featuring a delectable menu from The Food Dudes and craft cocktails by Luxe Sip Co., alongside musical entertainment and lighting provided by Event Factor.

Our Glam Bags were filled with luxurious full- and sample-sized beauty and wellness products from Thrive Causemetics, Ofra Cosmetics, and even more from our longtime collaborator, Safai Kelly.

We aimed to create a relaxed and fabulous networking Pajama Party at one of our favorite venues, offering stunning views of the Miami skyline. Everyone truly embraced the theme, and a fantastic time was had by all! To top it off, Shari was pleasantly surprised when the gathering transformed into a birthday celebration, as her team and husband surprised her with a 40th birthday cake and VIP Miami champagne bottle service themed experience! What a wonderful night to remember!

Welcome to Arielle’s Beach Club Bat Mitzvah at the Cadillac Hotel and Resort in Miami Beach, FL

In February 2024, we had the joy of designing and producing something truly extraordinary: Arielle’s Mykonos- and Santorini-inspired Bat Mitzvah at the Cadillac Hotel in Miami Beach. From the very first creative brainstorm to the final moments when guests jumped into the resort pool, every element of this celebration was intentionally crafted to reflect Arielle’s vibrant personality and her family’s desire for an event that felt fresh, joyful, and entirely unforgettable.This was a year of firsts for our team at Pink Wasabi Events — our first Bat Mitzvah, and our first opportunity to completely reimagine what one could look like. The result? An authentically epic beach club-inspired party that broke all expectations and raised the bar for coming-of-age celebrations in South Florida.

Custom Details from Start to Finish

No detail was too small when it came to the guest experience. From custom branded beach towels to the full-sized merch wall display where they were presented, Arielle’s celebration was layered with thoughtful touches that blended style and purpose.

The focal point of the evening? A stunning custom dancefloor wrap that served as the heart of the party — where guests danced the night away under the warm Miami breeze. It was designed to complement the blue-and-white Mykonos aesthetic while remaining completely unique to Arielle’s day.

Two Cocktail Hours, Endless Fun

To elevate the experience for guests of all ages, we hosted separate cocktail hours for kids and adults. The kids’ happy hour was brimming with energy and interaction, featuring:

An embroidery station
Custom airbrush tattoos
Interactive selfie stations with bespoke backdrops

These activations were designed and built by our sister brand, PINK. marketing & activations, whose creative concepts elevated the vibe and made the younger guests feel like VIPs from the very start.

A Star Entrance Worthy of the Spotlight

When it came time for Arielle to enter the main celebration — lovingly branded as “Arielle’s Beach Club” — she made her debut like the superstar she is. Our team of entertainers greeted her in true Mykonos beach club fashion, waving oversized cutout letters of her name and sparkling with hand-held sparklers.

To maintain the immersive beach club atmosphere, even the hotel staff and our event team were outfitted in custom-branded T-shirts and visors featuring the event logo. Every detail was curated to feel cohesive and transportive — guests weren’t just attending a Bat Mitzvah, they were stepping into a curated lifestyle experience.

A Celebration to Remember

As the night drew to a close, a handful of guests couldn’t resist the call of the resort pool — diving in fully dressed as the final song played. If there’s ever been a sign that a party was a success, we’d say that was it.

Designing Arielle’s Bat Mitzvah was an incredible honor and a true creative adventure. We’re so grateful to her family for trusting us with their vision, and for allowing us to bring something entirely new to life. Seeing the joy on every face — from kids to adults — was the ultimate reward.

A Celebration Rooted in Tradition and Modern Elegance

With great care, intention, and deep cultural respect, Pink Wasabi Events had the honor of planning and producing Malik and Layaly’s Palestinian Tulba celebration. From the very beginning, this gathering was envisioned as more than a formal engagement event. It was meant to be a meaningful moment of connection, one that honored family, tradition, and faith while embracing a modern sense of beauty and celebration. Every decision was guided by the desire to create an experience that felt heartfelt, elevated, and true to who Malik and Layaly are as a couple.

What unfolded was an unforgettable evening filled with warmth, joy, and purpose. A celebration that felt both intimate and expansive. One that honored the past while joyfully welcoming what lies ahead.

Honoring Palestinian and Muslim Customs with Intention

Hosted in a private backyard in Fort Lauderdale, this Tulba celebration was thoughtfully designed to honor Palestinian and Muslim customs while reflecting the refined, contemporary taste of the future bride and her family. From our earliest planning conversations, it was clear that this event was not about trends or spectacle. It was about meaning. It was about ensuring that every guest felt the significance of the moment and the love surrounding it.

We took the time to understand the traditions, the symbolism, and the cultural importance of the Tulba, approaching the process with humility and care. Our goal was to translate those customs into an experience that felt authentic and deeply personal, while still feeling modern, elegant, and aligned with the family’s aesthetic.

Seamless Event Production, Rain or Shine

Although rain fell for nearly the entire evening, guests never felt its presence. Through thoughtful planning and detailed production, the celebration unfolded effortlessly. The entire backyard was fully tented, creating a cozy and protected environment that allowed the evening to continue uninterrupted. Turf subflooring was installed throughout the space to create a level, comfortable foundation for dining, desserts, the espresso cart, and key gathering areas.

In addition, the pool was completely covered and transformed into a custom dance floor. What could have been a logistical challenge became one of the most memorable features of the night. Guests moved freely, danced comfortably, and remained fully immersed in the celebration, unaware of the rain just beyond the tent walls.

Turning Logistics into an Effortless Guest Experience

Behind the scenes, this event required thoughtful coordination and problem-solving. In front of the scenes, it felt seamless and calm. This balance is at the heart of our approach to event production. When logistics are handled with care and intention, guests are free to remain present, connected, and joyful. That sense of ease allowed the beauty of the evening and the importance of the traditions to truly shine.

Music, Movement, and Cultural Expression

As the evening unfolded, the celebration came alive through music and movement. A DJ played traditional Palestinian and Middle Eastern music that resonated deeply with the family and their guests. The dance floor remained full throughout the night, filled with laughter, rhythm, and shared joy. The energy was vibrant and uplifting, rooted in cultural expression while feeling fresh and celebratory.

Music has a powerful way of bringing people together, and on this night, it became a bridge between generations, memories, and shared identity.

Hospitality that Reflects Culture and Generosity

Hospitality was a central element of the celebration, thoughtfully woven into the overall experience. Guests enjoyed Middle Eastern catering that honored traditional flavors and family customs, complemented by a Spanish fire grill station serving paella. Fruit-infused water stations were placed throughout the space to keep guests refreshed, while a bicycle espresso cart and dessert display offered a warm and inviting close to the evening.

Each culinary element was selected with intention, reflecting the generosity and warmth that are so central to Palestinian celebrations. The goal was not just to feed guests, but to care for them.

An Organic, Bohemian Design Aesthetic

Visually, the tent was transformed into a romantic, bohemian-inspired setting that felt layered, inviting, and refined. The design avoided anything overly structured or rigid, allowing the space to feel natural and welcoming. Soft pink floral centerpieces added warmth and charm, while the overall palette and textures created a balance between elegance and ease.

The result was an environment that felt celebratory without being overwhelming, and elevated without losing its sense of intimacy.

Designing Culturally Specific Celebrations with Care

What made this Tulba especially meaningful for our team was the trust built throughout the process. At Pink Wasabi Events, we are deeply committed to planning and designing culturally specific celebrations with integrity, curiosity, and respect. We take the time to learn, listen, and understand before we design.

This approach allows us to honor traditions in a way that feels genuine and aligned, rather than performative. For Malik and Layaly’s celebration, that commitment was felt in every detail, from the flow of the evening to the smallest moments of hospitality.

A Celebration that Created Lifelong Bonds

Working alongside Malik and Layaly’s family was an incredible experience that extended far beyond event production. It was a collaboration rooted in mutual respect, trust, and shared joy. By the end of the evening, this celebration had created a lifelong bond between our team and their family, one that we will always carry with us.

Hosted in a private Fort Lauderdale backyard, this celebration was designed to honor Palestinian and Muslim customs while reflecting the refined, contemporary taste of the future bride and her family. From the earliest planning conversations, it was clear that this event was about more than beautiful décor—it was about creating an experience that felt authentic, intentional, and deeply personal.

Seamless Event Production, Rain or Shine

A Thoughtfully Designed Engagement Party Honoring Family, Culture & Connection in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Some celebrations are more than milestones—they are bridges between cultures, families, and places. Ivana & Daniel’s engagement party, hosted oceanside in the private enclave of Sea Ranch Lakes in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was exactly that.

Pink Wasabi Events was honored to provide full design and production for this meaningful engagement celebration, hosted by Ivana’s mother for their American friends and family—many of whom would not be able to travel abroad for the couple’s upcoming wedding in Israel.

A Celebration Rooted in Culture & Intention

Ivana, an American Jew, and Daniel were preparing for a traditional wedding in Israel, where Daniel’s family resides. While their formal ceremony would take place overseas, it was deeply important to Ivana’s family that the couple be celebrated here at home—surrounded by loved ones, community, and shared joy.

This engagement party became a heartfelt opportunity to honor the couple’s journey, blending cultural reverence with a relaxed, coastal South Florida atmosphere.

This celebration was designed to be inclusive, meaningful, and deeply personal—an expression of love across borders.

Organic Design Inspired by the Ocean

Set against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean, the design direction leaned into an organic, natural aesthetic that felt grounded, effortless, and elevated. We intentionally avoided anything overly structured or formal, allowing the environment to guide the visual story.

Natural textures, soft neutral tones, and thoughtfully layered details created a setting that felt welcoming and authentic—perfect for an engagement celebration centered on connection rather than spectacle.

Every element was curated to feel harmonious with the oceanside setting, ensuring that the design enhanced, rather than competed with, the natural beauty of Sea Ranch Lakes.

As the sun set and the celebration transitioned into evening, the energy shifted beautifully. Tropics Entertainment’s band delivered an incredible live performance that kept the dance floor full from start to finish.

There’s a certain magic that happens when great music meets a joyful crowd—and this night had it in abundance. Guests of all ages danced, laughed, and celebrated Ivana and Daniel late into the evening, creating memories that will last far beyond the engagement.
